Strange McFarlane never included some skeletor warriors when they released Ash....

saw series 1 the other day, they're tiny. That coupled with the breakage stories I've heard has made me steer clear of this line

mm, yes they are tiny, they are supposed to be, this is a 4" line.
The breakage issues were due to a small bad batch that came from the factories. Later shipments have much less breakage issues. Also, a lot of people thought their figures were broken, when they weren't. These figures have removable, semi-interchangeable parts, which in some cases can appear to be broken, when they aren't.
Palisades has released this for those weary and unaware...

Here is more info. on that subject from Mr. Lilly...
"1. A lot of areas that woudl seem broken may not be. Many of the joints at this scale were designed, since they had to be, to snap out and snap back in. If you have any doubt about what those joints might be or what the issue is on your figure particularly, contact me at [email protected].
2. The earliest figures that went out have some issues. PLEASE contact [email protected] to discuss replacements. We will replace anything, it just in this case will take a couple of weeks as we wait for our final inventory. Those replacements will come from the later samples, actually assembled by an entirely different group.
3. Be very careful in any case when you try to move any of them. If you have experience with complex figures that have this level of paint, sometimes there will be sticking...if you have any question about any joint before you move it, if it feels stuck to you, write me and let's figure out if it is a stuck area and how to deal with it.
I only anticipate the issues with any regularity with the first 10% of the figure run...that was what went out before we pulled the plug on production and made revisions to how they were putting these little things together.
Thanks for your patience on this. If you've seen the figures, you know we are trying to push new territory here. It is not a common thing, even for the factories to UNDERSTAND how to make these things at this scale. So the patience as we move forward is something that I hope you continue to show, but by all means we will replace any merchandise that is broken."

obviously they're "supposed" to be that small, they just aren't doing anything for me at that size for that price. They either need to be bigger or cheaper.

Well, they would be cheaper if stores like Wal-Mart, Target, Toys R Us, etc. carried them, but unfortunately they don't. The two packs are generally $15.00 or cheaper. That may seem like a lot for 2 4" figures, but a Star Wars figure costs $5.00 to $6.00 each, and they have much less detail, paint opps., articulation, and accessories. All in all, and considering, I don't think a buck or two more a figure is that bad.
